Beef will take up approximately 2 cubic feet of freezer space.
Our beef comes from Florida Cracker Cattle who's genetics were brought to our Eastern coastlines in the early 1500s'. These scrub cattle have evolved to handle our harsh and wet summers, and thrive on native grasses and browse. Your beef was raised either at our farm - Grove Ladder Farm or our partner farm, Blue Head Ranch in Highlands County.
Blue Head Ranch raises the same Florida Cracker Cattle breed, in a daily rotation to fresh pasture paddocks just on a much bigger scale! Neither of our farms use any synthetic fertilizers, or herbicides on our properties. Nor do either of our farms worm the cattle, supplement with the common molasses, salt licks, grain by-products, or use any growth hormones/antibiotics.
The beef you get from our farm is as close to historically normal Florida beef that you will find anywhere in the state.
